The Day The Angels Cried

 While tuning in to CNN
 I stared in disbelief…
For once again the USA
Was dealing with the thief.

The demented thief meant to steal,
To kill and to destroy…
To rob us of our children…
To steal our Christmas joy.

I can visualize the panic!
The reaction to it all!
Realization must have dawned
As they watched each other fall!

Were their little faces frozen
In a fear they couldn’t name?
Were their guardian angels at the scene?
Yes, I do believe they came

To carry them to comfort…
To be sheltered in God’s arms.
Protected from a wicked world…
From everyone and thing that harms.

Now, Father supply solace
For the ones left here to mourn…
Touch their hearts and hold them
When they’re feeling too forlorn.

Yes, Precious Jesus gathered up
Each little one who died…
But December fourteenth will be known
As the day the Angels cried.

Roman 5:-5
Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings,
because we know that suffering produces
 perseverance; perseverance, character;
and character, hope.  And hope does not
disappoint us, because God has poured out
his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit,
whom he has given us.

Romans 8:38-39
For I am convinced that neither death nor life,
neither angels nor demons, neither the present
nor the future, nor any powers, neither height
nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be
able to separate us from the love of God that is in
 Christ Jesus our Lord
